Suhaila choreographed Maharjan with her mother in 1984.  Above is Suhaila’s 1984 performance of Maharjan when she was sponsored to teach a weekend workshop with performance in Dallas, TX.

Suhaila also performed Maharjan at the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival (EDF) in 1984.  Suhaila was the first belly dancer to perform at the EDF in 1983 with her Joumana choreography when she was 16.  She also performed for the event in 1985 with Hayati.
